Not that you were especially worried or something, but Marvel’s current test screenings for Captain America: Civil War have got yielded the most beneficial audience reactions considering that The Winter Soldier. Previously, the 2nd Captain America film had gotten the highest marks at test screenings, which sounds about appropriate considering that it’s the very best MCU film to date. Can Civil War be even better?
Devin from Birth.Movies.Passing away reports that he’ohydrates heard from several solutions that Captain America: Municipal War is testing truly, really well with audiences in early screenings. Examination screenings are typical, as are reshoots, which is what company directors Joe and Anthony Russo and the cast of Civil War do right now — audience suggestions can help them during this process, where they can lengthen or limit sequences, or add a couple of beats to aid clarify or improve specific characters or scenes.
But if Devin’ohydrates reporting is exact (and his sources are legit, so it is), Wonder probably won’t always be changing anything significant in their reshoots. BMD also notes that the only issue these sources can’capital t seem to agree on is “whether the movie analyzed as well as or superior than Captain America: The Winter Soldier.” That will film was previously by far the most well-received at test screenings, so at the very least, we realize that Civil War is as great as The Winter Soldier, otherwise slightly better — the mileage may vary.
Perhaps probably the most interesting part of this report is that audiences gave the impression to love Civil War despite the fact that it goes to some “dark places” and “doesn’t pull almost any punches,” and it’utes those darker components that had Marvel business owners concerned about how the picture would play as being the Phase 3 come out. “Dark places” likely identifies some major persona deaths, a few of that have been rumored since before last year.
