Deadpool will be the first R-rated Marvel movie since 2008’utes Punisher: War Zone; it was formally rated R with the MPAA for “strong violence and language all through, sexual content as well as graphic nudity.” Fairly intense stuff for just a superhero movie! But, if you need your Deadpool to obtain even more intense, star T.J. Miller says there is a prepared Director’s Cut on the film that will be “more raw” than what you see inside theaters.
Other Marvel company directors like Joss Whedon and John Gunn have pushed back against the notion of “Director’ohydrates Cuts” because, as they’onal explained, the version they’ve released inside theaters is their lower and there’s nothing they’d want to alter about their films. It’s unclear if Deadpool movie director Tim Miller can feel differently, or if He is just looking to squash an extra buck outside the pockets of Deadpool fanboys, but it appears we’regarding eventually going to get a few unrated superhero action. Here’s To.J. Miller, about stage with Jones Reynolds after a Deadpool fan verification in London, explaining:
Consider Deadpool is already a fairly hard-R, we’re actually a small intrigued to see the things they possibly had to cut out of this film. It’utes a Marvel comic movie with “sturdy violence” and “graphic nudity” just what else could his or her possibly be?
The Deadpool Director’s Slice will likely make it’s debut on the film’s DVD and Blu-ray relieve later this summer. For now, you’ll just have to settle for the theatrical version, which hits theaters on February 12.
