Remember always: It’s not XXX, it’s xXx.
(Usually the one capitalized x for is for “x-citement.”)
And speaking of x-citement, everyone’s preferred x-treme sports n-thusiast turned Adam Bond-style super-spy is making the big c-omeback in xXx: The Come back of Xander Cage. (Cage was MIA from the second xXx, 2005’ersus State of the Union). Paramount officially announced yesterday who’s would distribute the particular film, starring Vin Diesel powered as Xander Cage, in the future. Today, The Hollywood Reporter says these days the movie also has it’s villain: Donnie Yen, in a very part that was originally filled by Fly Li.
Though largely unknown in the usa, Donnie Yen is a huge motion star in Asia, where he’s headlined a lot of awesome martial-arts thrillers (like Flash Point in addition to the Ip Man series). He’s already arranged to appear in the Rogue One Star Wars spinoff, now he’ll get to antagonize Vin Diesel engine with all kinds of x-treme kicks along with punches. It couldn’to happen to more badass person.
Here, from the press release, will be the plot description. I am going to let you figure out that Donnie Yen is actively playing:
The third explosive phase of the blockbuster operation that redefined this spy thriller finds severe athlete turned authorities operative Xander Cage (Vin Diesel engine) coming out of self-imposed exile and on a collision course with perilous alpha warrior Xiang and his awesome team in a race to recuperate a sinister as well as seemingly unstoppable weapon referred to as Pandora’s Box. Getting an all-new group of thrill-seeking cohorts, Xander discovers himself enmeshed in a deadly conspiracy that points to collusion at the highest quantities of world governments. Packed with this series’ signature deadpan wit and also bad-ass attitude, “xXx: THE RETURN OF XANDER CAGE” will raise the club on extreme activity with some of the most mind-blowing tricks to ever be captured on film.
I can’testosterone levels wait to meet his / her all-new group of thrill-seeking cohorts! They’re likely to raise the bar about extreme action!
