Earlier this week, Nicolas Cage agreed upon on to star throughout Vengeance: A Love Story, a film in which — at the time — sounded like essentially the most Cage-appropriate movie ever, knowning that title’s not even the particular half of it. At this point comes word of some other film that could give Vengeance a run for its money, as Dog house is reuniting together with his Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance director for Mom and Dad, a movie in which he will try to kill his personal children.
According to Contract, Cage has agreed upon on to star inside Mom and Dad, a new thriller through Ghost Rider: Spirit connected with Vengeance co-director Brian Taylor. Taylor is best generally known as one-half of the directing pair Neveldine and Taylor, and worked alongside his partner Draw Neveldine on the Crank films, Gamer and The Vatican Tapes — a truly wacky as well as violent resume, which has us pretty excited for the hopefully in the same way wacky and crazy Mom and Dad.
Cage will superstar as the titular dad inside the film, which focuses on a teenage young lady and her small brother, who seriously fight to survive when mass hysteria mysteriously grips parents for 24 hours and drives these phones murderously turn on their own offspring. Sounds like a real enjoyable time for the whole family.
While Vengeance: An affection Story will likely give us greater serious and controlled Cage, Mom and Dad looks as if it have been tailor-made for the actor’s famous Full Cage mania. We can’t hold out.
