Samuel L. Jackson won’capital t be appearing inside Captain America: Civil War, with only two films quit in his Marvel long term contract, we’ve been thinking when we might discover Nick Fury again. We may have an answer, as a new document suggests that Jackson has a role in Thor: Ragnrok, that’s filming in Australia on the same studio the location where the actor recently recorded scenes for Kong: Skull Island with his Marvel co-star Tom Hiddleston.
The news comes from local Melbourne outlet Gold Coast Bulletin (via CBM), which in turn reports that pre-production with Thor: Ragnarok has begun this week which the film will shoot at the Village Roadshow Studios in Queensland, where parts of Kong: Skull Island were recently picture. The paper says that Jackson has been “tipped” to return as Nick Rage for the Thor sequel, which can be being directed simply by Taika Waititi (What We Do in the Shadows).
Chris Hemsworth along with Tom Hiddleston are going back to reprise their roles as Thor and Loki, respectively, even though Marvel’s Kevin Feige has said in which Ragnarok will take place mostly in space and will invest very little time on Earth. Level Ruffalo’s Hulk will also come in the film, which the actor has referred to as a buddy road trip video in the vein associated with Midnight Run.
Jackson’s Nick Rage last appeared inside Avengers: Age of Ultron, where he or she informed Scarlett Johansson’s Black color Widow of the Hulk’s inexplicable disappearance in the Avengers’ Quinjet. The Quinjet reappeared with the heroes’ base in Ant-Man, which in turn raised questions about its reappearance and also the whereabouts of Hulk.
The survey is unconfirmed, but Jackson’utes participation in Thor: Ragnarok isn’t out of the realm of chance — though it is fascinating given that he just has two Marvel shows left on his contract (which may adequately change).
Cate Blanchett remains in talks to play a fresh villain in the movie, with rumors advising that she may be taking on the role of Hela and teaming up with Loki to cause some serious mischief.
Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters about November 3, 2017.
