Here’s some good news for your Bronies: Hasbro and Lionsgate are creating a feature-length My Little Pony animated movie. It seems a bit odd that it’s considered this long to make the Ponies on the big screen, given the powerful popularity of their animated series. Meanwhile, companies continue to develop videos based on board games along with candy, while your current little Ponies have been sitting in the place, biding their precious time.
Via an announcement, the studio along with the toy manufacturer announced that they’ll form groups to release a My Minor Pony animated film, scripted by Meghan McCarthy, writer and developer on the beloved My Very little Pony: Friendship Will be Magic series. Apparently she’utes kind of a big deal within the MLP fan circles.
A My Very little Pony movie seems like an understandable development, but more obvious is the sending your line of twee pixie Kristin Chenoweth, who will voice an all-new character suitable for the film. The actual actress (who is basically the human equivalent of a new Pony) will join the Friendship Is Magic voice cast and characters on their all-new adventure.
The plot of land of the film focuses on a malevolent push that invades Ponyville, sending the actual Mane 6 (The twilight series Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Sprint, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Rarity) on an adventure in the evening boundaries of Equestria, in which they encounter completely new lands and friends in their mission to save Ponyville.
Unfortunately, Channing Tatum will not make a Horse cameo.
