The Walking Dead fans understand in their bones the Season 6 finale may prove a skull-crusher, what with Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan finally creating his anticipated look. Fans have driven themselves batty trying to puzzle out who might go through the fate consistent with Negan’s first amusing appearance, but the leaked finale statement claims we might not learn at all.
Take all of this with a grain of salt in the meantime, and be warned connected with major spoilers, but a different report from HNGN obtaining details from the often-impeccable Spoiling Dead (h/t Vanity Reasonable) suggests that while Negan may indeed deliver the popular killing blow by barbed wire bat “Lucille,” we won’t in fact learn his prey:
He debates killing Maggie, that is suffering from intense labour pain, but Glenn interjects … After the sickening game of “eeny, meeny, miny moe,” Negan makes his choice and events the character’s head in with Lucille…
Unfortunately, it sounds including we have no idea whom that choice is. The camera shifts to the character’ohydrates point of view so we certainly not actually see that’s killed.
Absurd though that could sound, it could match purportedly leaked footage of Jeffrey Dean Morgan filming this scene in question, which in turn indeed appeared to display the actor swinging directly at the photographic camera, rather than a specific personality. Should the leaks verify accurate, a cliffhanger like that would undoubtedly blend the fanbase, some of whom have yet to forgive the actual fakeout of Glenn’s death last year.
We’ll discover for sure on May 3, but may well The Walking Dead cop on one of its the majority of iconic moments, at the least until October?
