Sooner or later, each will come to TV. Or even Netflix, at least, because Drew Barrymore takes the woman’s first TV series regular role alongside Justified alum Timothy Olyphant for brand new Netlix single-camera comedy Santa Clarita Diet, as authored by Better Off Ted alum Victor Fresco.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, this 2017 comedy sees Olyphant in addition to Barrymore as married couple Fergie and Sheila, realtors major “vaguely discontented lives in the la suburb of Santa Clarita — till Sheila goes through a dramatic change that sends both their lives along a road of death and destruction … but in a good way.”
Episode number have yet to be determined, though Netflix says:
The master casting of Timothy along with Drew combined with Victor’utes unique comedic sensibility will delight, and positively surprise, our customers around the world.
Olyphant has undoubtedly played a hand within comedy since Justified’azines end, between appearances on The Mindy Project and FOX’azines The Grinder, while Barrymore too has produced TV appearances, formerly only in guests.
