FOX’s X-Files reunion can have given a slight pinprick for the bubble of classic TV revivals floating through the landscape, but that might not stop CBS from reviving the actual witchy Charmed with its original forged. Following recent speculation and past hard work to reboot, original Charmed star Alyssa Milano clarifies a number of recent comments around the Halliwell sisters’ return.
Take this all which has a grain of salt for the moment, as being the erstwhile Phoebe Halliwell acknowledged the prematurity connected with her own comments, though Milano got Charmed fans’ hopes on top of a recent Entertainment Tonight quote saying “It feels like [a cast reunion] going to happen almost any second. I just feel like with all these [TV] reunions… someone’utes going to put which together at some point. Along with we’re all mainly on board for that!”
We don’big t have to tell you just how fans can pick right up that ball as well as run, though the past series star latched onto Twitter to clarify a few of her comments, even referencing CBS’ 2013 development of a restart with all-new cast:
That “decision” have been made by four years of development limbo, however Milano at least has a stage on the supernatural line fitting current criteria for a limited rebirth of some sort. The first San Francisco-set series ran by 1998 to 2007, featuring Milano, Holly Jessica Combs and Shannen Doherty because three sibling wizards, and a number of early on turns for personalities like Kaley Cuoco, Norman Reedus, Amy Adams, Ron Perlman and more.
No skepticism CBS is aware of the latest conversation, but will be Charmed worth heaping into the rebirth furnace?
